QUT’s Professor Richard Brown and Dr Tim Bodisco, Deakin University explain how they tested a mix of oil extracted from old tyres and diesel in a diesel-powered vehicle. The oil was extracted by Green Distillation Technologies.

Professor Richard Brown from QUT’s Biofuel Engine Research Facility and Dr Tim Bodisco from Deakin University tested a fuel made from oil extracted from old tyres mixed with diesel in a diesel-powered vehicle in city conditions. The tyre oil was extracted using a unique process developed by Green Distillation Technologies.
